It reflects the Cluster members’ priorities and objectives, establishing a unified and shared approach and defining synergies with the strategic lines outlined by the Regions, considered as key actors for a sustainable territorial regeneration.
Priority Technology Trajectories
A result of the joint work carried out by the SPRING members, and thanks to the support and coordination of the Scientific Technical Committee of the SPRING Cluster, this paper was presented in November 2016 to the Italian Ministry for Education, University and Research as a policy document meant to provide systemic responses to environmental, economic and social emergencies in our country.
Vision Document
It defines the Cluster’s scope and range of action and the tools available to this purpose, showing the objectives and initiatives it intends to pursue together with its members and supporting Regions, with a view to respond to the challenges and opportunities offered by bioeconomy.

It highlights the aspects of excellence and the growth prospects of the Italian chemical sector from renewable sources, represented by the SPRING Cluster and analysed within the wider development context of bioeconomy in Italy and Europe.
Position Paper on the promotion and consolidation of activities to sustain bioeconomy in the training and educational fields
It describes the context and possible actions that can be implemented to support bioeconomics in the fields of education, training and employment incentive, to which the SPRING Cluster – as a representative of Italian excellences in the sector of chemistry from renewable sources – can contribute.
